Yes. The Door app turns a supported phone into a card terminal with Tap to Pay. Tap to Pay works on a supported iPhone (iOS 17.6+) or Android phone (Android 8.0+). It does not work on iPad. There is no card reader to rent.
Paid plans include SMS and email campaigns, dedicated phone numbers, and attendee lists built from your own sales. Opens, clicks, and sales are tracked in the same dashboard that sold the ticket.
After purchase, attendees add the ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in one tap. At the door they show the phone and you scan the QR code. Guests do not need to download an app.
Scanning needs a connection to verify a ticket. If the connection drops, the Door app queues scans on the device and validates them once you're back online, so nothing is lost — but a queued scan is confirmed after sync, not at the gate.
